Google has released its third reviews update in 2023 on November 08, 2023. As per Google, this will be the last published reviews update since Google will be making regular and ongoing changes to the reviews system.
What are Reviews Updates?
Review updates control how Google wants user reviews to be.
As per Google, reviews need to be good in four parameters which are:
- It shows the experience of the reviewer.
- The author should have expertise over the subject.
- The website should have an authority over the topic.
- People should show trust on the webpage.
All of these are together termed as Google’s EEAT guidelines.
